Skipjack tuna is an important economic fish. This fish covers 60% of the output of commercial tuna worldwide. People make them into canned tuna and sashimi, which is very popular in European and American markets. Its taste is very delicious. Good quality skipjack meat is deep red. When we cook, it will become light grey. Sometimes, canned skipjack may be mixed with yellowfin tuna because fishermen don't separate them at harvest. Some sushi markets prefer skipjack tuna because it's comparable to yellowfin tuna when fried or grilled.
Generally, we pack them in cartons according to our customer's requirements. Until now, our company has exported them to the Thailand market for canning.
